The invention relates to use of an NOK gene in diagnosis or treatment of chronic B lymphocytic leukemia. Specifically, the invention relates to the use of an identification reagent in preparation of lymphocytic leukemia diagnostic reagents. Specifically, the identification reagent specifically determines the existence and/or level of the NOK gene or an expression product thereof in a subject sample, and the lymphocytic leukemia is chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
