The invention discloses a denitration catalyst surface ash deposition measuring device and a measuring method thereof, related to the technical field of ash deposition measuring equipment. The denitration catalyst surface ash deposition measuring device comprises a monitoring net horizontally laid on the surface of the denitration catalyst; the monitoring net is a mesh structure formed by staggering a plurality of conductive steel wires each other; an insulating gasket is arranged at an intersection of two intersectant conductive steel wires to avoid direct connection between the two conductive steel wires to form a loop; an insulated protective sleeve is wrapped outside the conductive steel wire between adjacent intersections in the monitoring net; one end of each conductive steel wire iselectrically connected to an electronic measuring box through a high temperature resistant wire; and the electronic measuring box is connected to a control system. The measuring points in the invention are densely distribute
