The invention provides an aluminum plastic film and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps: providing a PET/PA coextruded cast film, an aluminum foil layer, a heat seal layer/core layer/composite layer coextruded cast polypropylene film, an outer layer adhesive and an inner layer adhesive; carrying out passivation treatment on the surface of the aluminum foil layer through a passivation liquid; compounding the PET/PA coextruded cast film to an outer surface of the aluminum foil layer by a dry compounding process based on the outer layer binder, wherein a PET layer in the PET/PA coextruded cast film is located on an outer surface of the aluminum plastic film; and compounding the heat seal layer/core layer/composite layer co-extruded cast polypropylene film to an inner surface of the aluminum foil layer by a dry compounding process based on the inner layer adhesive, wherein a heat seal layer in the heat seal layer/core layer/composite layerco-extruded cast polypro
