Summary:The invention relates to a method and a device for purifying hexafluorobutadiene and belongs to the field of fine chemicals. The purifying method comprises the steps of firstly carrying out preliminary purification by adopting a continuous rectification process in two columns; adsorbing carbon-halogen compound impurities, especially chlorine and bromine-containing fluorocarbons, by using an adsorption tower; and further purifying by using a third rectification column and purifying through a filter. The method has the beneficial effects that the impurities such as organic solvents, carbon-halogen compounds, O2, N2, CO, CO2, H2O, particulate matters and the like in the hexafluorobutadiene can be removed; the quantity of cold and heat consumed in the purification process is reduced; the method is small in equipment input, simple in operation, large in production capacity and high in yield; and the purity of the hexafluorobutadiene is above 99.99% after purification.
