Summary: | The invention discloses a hot matte flow measurement device, wherein an electromagnetic flow sensor is mounted in a direction perpendicular to a sulfonium guiding tube or a chute and is connected witha converter through a cable, and the electromagnetic sensor is externally provided with a thermal insulation cover. The hot matte flow measurement device has the advantages of measuring matte flow more accurately, using an electromagnetic flowmeter with the thermal insulation cover, avoiding damage to an electromagnetic field of a measured object, having high measurement precision, low maintenance rate, long service life and reduced production cost, and by accuracy operation and control to a refining furnace (or a converting furnace), improving production efficiency of the furnace and bringing considerable economic benefits.
