Summary:The invention discloses a method for obtaining winding stay spacing of a transformer, which comprises the following steps of: obtaining current peak value of the transformer when three-phase short circuit occurs; the current peak value being analyzed by finite element method, and the element electromagnetic force of transformer winding in x, y and z directions being obtained; determining a straight side to be measured of the winding, and obtaining a load of the straight side to be measured according to the electromagnetic force of the unit; the load being applied on the winding, the deflectionof the winding being obtained, and the spacing of the struts being obtained according to the deflection.
