The invention discloses a backlight module and a display device. The backlight module comprises: a substrate layer; a light source comprising a plurality of mini LED chips, wherein the plurality of mini LED chips are arranged in an array on the substrate layer; a wide color gamut structure, wherein quantum dots and fluorescent powder are distributed in the wide color gamut structure, the wide color gamut structure comprises a first sub-portion and a second sub-portion, the first sub-portion is located on one side of each mini LED chip away from the substrate layer, the second sub-portion extends from the first sub-portion toward the substrate layer, and the second sub-portion surrounds the mini LED chips; and a water-oxygen obstruction structure, wherein the water-oxygen obstruction structure is located on one side of the wide color gamut structure away from the light source. The backlight module disclosed by the invention can realize the wide color gamut of the backlight and meanwhileensure the performance r
