Summary: | The invention discloses a 380MPa grade titanium-contained steel strip for wheel rims and a production method thereof. The steel strip is prepared from the following chemical components in percentage by mass: 0.06 to 0.10 percent of C, 0.05 to 0.15 percent of Si, 0.70 to 0.90 percent of Mn, less than or equal to 0.020 percent of P, less than or equal to 0.010 percent of S, 0.020 to 0.050 percent ofAls, 0.010 to 0.030 percent of Ti, less than or equal to 0.0060 percent of N, and the balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities. The production method comprises steelmaking, continuous casting, heating, rolling and cooling procedures. The composition design of low carbon content and low manganese content added with a small amount of alloying elements Ti and Si is adopted, and a water cooling plusair cooling plus water cooling process is adopted in the cooling procedure to obtain a uniform ferrite plus pearlite structure, thereby improving the plasticity and toughness of the material, improving the welding performance |
