Summary:The invention discloses non-caking type cat litter and a method for preparing the same. The non-caking type cat litter comprises, by weight, 80-100 parts of walnut shell particles, 5-12 parts of diaphragma juglandis powder, 2-7 parts of citric acid, 3-8 parts of sodium bicarbonate, 4-9 parts of sodium carboxymethyl celluloses and 4-10 parts of medical stone powder. The water contents of the walnutshell particles are 8-10%.
