More Information
Summary:The invention relates to the field of composite materials and may be used for preparing parts and structures to be used in aviation and rocket/space technology, medicine, automobile manufacturing, etc. A composite reinforcing thread contains a roving, made of reinforcing fibers saturated with a thermoreactive binder, having a cross-section in the form of a circle with a diameter of 0.1-0.7mm or inthe form of an ellipse with an eccentricity of 1-2 and a larger diameter of 0.1-0.7mm. The saturated roving is subjected to temperature processing until the thermoreactive binder is fully set. A prepreg is produced from the thread by adding a thermoplastic binder. A tape is produced by connecting a thread or prepreg by means of connection elements made of a thermoplastic material. The thread is produced in an installation containing a bobbin creel, onto which is installed a bobbin with a roving made of reinforcing fibers or reinforcing fibers and functional fibers, a saturating device, two thermal processing chambers
