The invention relates to a mower comprising a chassis (10), wheels (14, 16) for moving the mower in a mowing plane, and a cutting deck (20). According to the invention, the mower comprises a parking brake having at least one brake member (30) secured to the cutting deck (20). The cutting deck (20) is mounted on the chassis (10) so as to be able to move between at least one mowing position and a position in which the mower is stopped, in which the brake member comes into contact with at least one wheel (14) of the mower so as to immobilize said wheel.
