Summary: | The invention discloses a novel V-shaped transmission belt which comprises an overlying layer, a skeleton layer, a bonding layer and a compression layer. The skeleton layer is specifically a rope formed by a composite material in woven and twisted modes, wherein the composite material comprises, by weight, 20-45% of polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) fibers, 20-35% of polyamide fibers, and 10-20% of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The skeleton layer of the novel V-shaped transmission belt is formed by the composite material of the PEN fibers, the polyamide fibers and the PET in the woven and twisted modes, and the novel V-shaped transmission belt has higher strength and tensile strength, and is more stable in size and not prone to deforming; and the novel V-shaped transmission belt is treated by RP and PFL gel liquid, and thus the skeleton layer is better in chemical stability and longer in service life.
