The invention discloses a method for peeling flexible coverings on the surface of a flaky material. The flaky material comprises base pieces and flexible coverings, wherein surfaces of all or a part of the base pieces are covered by one or more flexible coverings. The method comprises the following steps: partitioning a partitioned area on the other side, covered by flexible coverings, of base pieces; fixing the partitioned area with the flexible coverings on the partitioned area into one entity; separating the partitioned area and the flexible coverings on the partitioned area from other areas except the partitioned area of the base pieces; further separating other flexible coverings connected with the flexible coverings on the partitioned area from other areas except the partitioned area, of the base pieces.
