The invention provides a high-strength wear-resistant type polyimide-fiber rope belt and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) sizing of polyimide fibers; (2) twisting of polyimide fiber: carrying out single-fiber twisting on polyimide fibers, retwisting multiple beams of twisted single fibers into strands and winding into rolls; (3) preparation ofa polyimide-fiber rope: selecting a rope skin and a rope core, knitting to obtain the polyimide-fiber rope; or preparation of a polyimide-fiber belt: knitting the single twisted fibers into the beltby using a knitting machine.
