In the embodiment of the present application, the visual content weight based on mutual information is designed by using the statistical distribution property of image depiction of the Gaussian mixture model on the basis of the image quality evaluation method based on non-negative matrix factorization, thereby improving the robustness and the stability of the image quality evaluation method. Besides, an image quality evaluation function model is constructed by combiningthe non-negative matrix factorization technology and the visual content weight so as to improve the subjective and objective consistency of the image quality evaluation method.
