The invention provides a backlight module and a connection base. The connection base comprises a base, a plurality of clamping pins and a plurality of connecting pins, the plurality of clamping pins stretch out towards a first direction far from the base from the base and enclose an accommodating space together, each clamping pin comprises a clamping portion towards an inner wall of the accommodating space, the plurality of connecting pins stretch out towards the first direction from the base, surrounds the accommodating space, and arranged alternately with the plurality of clamping pins, eachconnecting pin comprises an end portion far from the base and bent towards the direction of the accommodating space, each connecting pin comprises a contact portion on an outer wall opposite to the accommodating space, the clamping portion stretches into the accommodating space deeper compared with an inner wall surface of the connecting pin towards the accommodating space, and the contact portion protrudes close to the
