Summary:The invention discloses an image texture feature extraction method of local pixel homogeny (LPH). The local pixel homogeny is calculated through defining eight fixed-length direction lines around a center pixel, wherein the center pixel and neighboring pixels thereof form the eight fixed-length direction lines. Calculation of the local pixel homogeny includes the following steps: carrying out summation on absolute values of difference values of pixels of a certain direction and the central pixel, if a value thereof is less than or equal to a set threshold, considering that the direction pixelsand the center pixel are homogeneous (have similar gray value pixels), and otherwise, considering that the same are heterogeneous (are pixels with non-similar gray values); and encoding a binary number calculated and obtained from each direction according to a counterclockwise order, and converting the same into a decimal number by calculation to use the same as a local-pixel-homogeny value of the center pixel. 本发明公开了种局部
