Summary: | The purpose of the invention is to provide: a crystal of reduced-form glutathione in which the content of impurities, particularly L-cysteinyl-L-glycine, is reduced; and a method for producing the same. The invention relates to a crystal of reduced-form glutathione wherein, in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis, the peak area of L-cysteinyl-L-glycine is 0.02 or less with respect to a peak area of 100 of the reduced-form glutathione.
