Summary:The invention provides coconut chicken with Wenchang chicken as a raw material and a making method thereof. The coconut chicken is produced from the following raw materials: the Wenchang chicken and asoup base. The soup base comprises the following raw materials by weight: 750 to 850 parts of coconut water, 700 to 900 parts of drinking water, 2 to 3 parts of chicken essence powder, 3 to 4 parts of refined salt, 40 to 60 parts of coconut pulp and 25 to 35 parts of pearl-like water-chestnuts, wherein the coconut water and the coconut pulp are made from green coconuts.
