Summary: | The invention provides a hexapod search and rescue robot based on a ZigBee network, and relates to the technical field of robots. A battery is placed on the bottom of a shell, a PCB, a ZigBee communication module, a camera and a tripod head are placed on the top of the shell, and the edge of the shell is connected with six leg units. When the robot performs search and rescue, the orientation of the camera of the robot can be adjusted to collect videos. The robot is simple in structure and principle, and only 12 steering engines are needed to achieve gait of the hexapod robot; the hexapod robotonly has 12 degrees of freedom, and compared with an existing 18-degree-of-freedom hexapod robot, the hexapod search and rescue robot is greatly simplified, so that communications between the searchand rescue robots and communications between the robots and a main engine are achieved. A search and rescue network is built, and the search and rescue efficiency is improved.
