Summary:A fixation device applied to color matching agents of fixation recording materials comprises: a cylindrical film; a plate-like heater that contacts with the internal surface of the film; a roller thatforms a nip part with the heater with the film interposed therebetween; and a thermosensor that cuts the power supply to the heater when the temperature of the heater reaches an abnormal temperature.The fixation device conveys a recording material having a toner image formed thereon at the nip part while heating the recording material to fix the toner image on the recording material.
