Summary: | The invention discloses a method for manufacturing a stator core. The stator core comprises a plurality of iron core pieces, and a plurality of iron core pieces are stacked in the axial direction of the stator core, each iron core piece is formed into a ring structure and comprises a plurality of punch segments arranged in turn along circumferential direction one after the other, a seam formed between two adjacent punch segments, along the axial direction of the stator core, the seam of the nth layer and the seam of the n+m layer are interlaced, wherein n, m both are positive integers, and n and m satisfy n>/=1 and m>/=1, respectively. The manufacturing method comprises the steps of: sequentially punching a plurality of punch segments in a linear direction on the steel sheet, and sequentially arranging a plurality of punch segments in order to form an iron core; and stacking the plurality of iron core pieces in the axial direction of the iron core chip.
