Summary: | The invention belongs to the technical field of materials, and particularly relates to a composite material and a preparation method thereof. A designed flame retardant enhanced PBT material is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 30 to 50 percent of PBT, 10 to 15 percent of brominated flame retardants, 10 to 15 percent of compound flame retardants, 13 to 40 percent of glass fiber, 2 to 6 percent of toughening agents, 0.2 to 0.8 percent of antioxidants and 0.3 to 0.8 percent of lubricating agents.
