The low-shrinkage and flame-retardant high impact polystyrene material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 60-74 parts of HIPS resin, 3-8 parts of toughening agent, 5-15 parts of high-heat-resistant polystyrene, 12-16 parts of flame retardant, 3-5 parts of antimonous oxide, 0.5-1.5 parts of lubricant, 3-10 parts of reinforcing agent and 0.1-0.5 part of antioxidant.
