| Summary: | The present invention discloses a data protection method based on a virtualization technology. The method comprises: creating two virtual machines: a data transmission machine and a data protection machine, in one physical machine; establishing a dedicated data transmission channel between the data transmission machine and the data protection machine; and transmitting external data to the data protection machine through the data transmission machine via the dedicated data transmission channel. In addition, the present invention also discloses a system applying the data protection method. The system comprises a data transmission machine, a dedicated data transmission channel and a data protection machine. According to the method and system provided by the present invention, the security ofthe data isolation and storage and the data storage environment can be improved, and the output of the stored data can be controlled to realize the security protection of the data.
