The invention discloses a high-precision positioning method suitable for AR, comprising the following steps: S1 of recording GPS geographic information when the client exits the AR server and an imageof the fixed reference object captured by the client when exiting the AR server; S2 of performing the initial positioning according to the GPS geographic information when the client exits the serverwhen receiving the request of the location where the client enters the exit; S3 of retrieving the image of the fixed reference object captured by the client when exiting the AR server, and performingthe translucent display; and S4 of opening the camera of the client to acquire the image of the space in real time, and completing the high-precision positioning when the semi-transparent displayed image and the real-time acquired image reach an overlapping threshold. The invention may be manually adjusted to the spatial position of the last exit of the AR by the user with higher accuracy and no additional equipment needed
