The invention discloses a warning system for a glass door/window. The warning system comprises a glass body with a warning zone, an invisible photosensitive warning coating on the warning zone, an excitation light source cooperated with the invisible photosensitive warning coating, and an excitation light source control circuit with a monitoring head. The invisible photosensitive warning coating of the warning zone is in a colorless and transparent invisible state when not being triggered by the excitation light source; when the monitoring head detects a monitored object, an excitation light source control circuit turns on the excitation light source, the excitation light source excites the invisible photosensitive warning coating of the warning zone; and the invisible photosensitive warning coating emits light for warning.
