The invention provides a view display method and device. The method comprises the steps that based on live video streaming application, the display request of a target video view can be received, andthe display area of the target video view is smaller than that of a first layer of views; a target shadow view corresponding to the target video view is generated, wherein the target shadow view is atransparent view for bearing the operation instruction of the target video view; the target video views can be displayed at the upper part of the first layer of views and at the lower part of a secondlayer of views; the target shadow view can be displayed at the upper part of the second layer of views.
