Summary:The present invention is a method for evaluating the differentiation state of test cells on the basis of the amount of a prescribed indicator substance that is present on a culture supernatant for thetest cells, which are stem cells that have an unknown differentiation state or cells that have been induced to differentiate from stem cells.
