The invention provides an auxiliary heating device for hot water. The device comprises a filtering device, a water pump, a heat exchanger and a control system. The device is characterized in that waste hot water is filtered through the filtering device and then is pressurized through the water pump; the waste hot water and tap water reversely flow in the heat exchanger to realize heat exchange, and thus the tap water is heated; the heat exchanger is a corrugated pipe coiling type heat exchanger; after the cold water and the hot water with the same flow rate as the cold water exchange heat exchange heat, the temperature of the tap water is close to that of the waste hot water, thus achieving the purpose of auxiliary heating of the tap water; the diameter of a corrugated pipe ranges from 8-50mm, so that waste hot water flows in the corrugated pipe and is hard to cause blocking of the corrugated pipe; tap water flows in a gap of a tube shell and is low in flowing resistance, so that the flow rate of the tap wate
