The present invention relates to a bag, associated system and method for covering, retaining and/or stabilising a slope or embankment. The said bag has an opening for accommodating a plant, securing means to seal the bag, and a cover that overlaps the opening wherein the cover is positionable to direct the direction of growth of the plant.
