Abstract | The invention discloses a wine jar sealing material. The material is characterized by being prepared from a main material, chitosan and genipin, wherein the main material contains yellow soil, tea residue powder and chaff powder; the adding amount of chitosan is 1%-10% of the mass of the main material, the adding amount of genipin is 0.1%-1% of the mass of the main material, and the mass ratio ofthe yellow soil: chaff: tea residue is (5-10): (2-1):1. The prepared sealing material has good air tightness and antibacterial property, can further ensure microcirculation inside wine jars, and is suitable for commercialization and large-scale use; preservation time of wine can be prolonged, and flavor of the wine can be enhanced.
