Summary:The invention provides an in-situ monitoring method and device with temperature compensation for state-of-charge (SOC) of a vanadium cell electrolyte. The method comprises the steps of measuring oxidization-reduction potential (ORP) values of a positive/negative electrolyte in a series of SOC states under a plurality of temperatures; building a relation curve Y (Y=aX+b) between the ORP value of the electrolyte under a temperature t and In[SOC/(1-SOC)] or In[(1-SOC)/SOC], fitting to obtain a linear equation of values a and b with regard to the temperature t, and solving an X value by substituting the ORP vale measured under a temperature t1 into the formula Y=a1X+b1; and substituting X into SOC-X database, and obtaining an SOC value of the electrolyte.
