The invention relates to novel cobalt complexes, in particular to benzimidazole compound cobalt complexes containing pyridines, compositions containing the complexes, and application of the benzimidazole compound cobalt complexes in preparing anticancer drugs. The structure of the compound is shown in the description, wherein R is selected from H, C1-C6 alkoxy, halogenated C1-C6 alkoxy, hydroxyl,amidogen, nitryl and cyanogroup, R1 is selected from H, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkoxy, halogenated C1-C6 alkoxy, hydroxyl, amidogen, nitryl and cyanogroup, R2 is selected from H, substituent or un-substituent C1-C6 alkyl and C1-C6 alkoxy, the substituent group is C1-C6 alkoxy and halogenated C1-C6 alkoxy, and R3 is selected from H, C1-C6 alkyl and C1-C6 alkoxy.
