Summary: | The invention is to reduce electricity consumption and increase display quality. An fluorescent indicator tube includes a lamp filament for emitting electrons, a positive pole which forms a fluorescent body on a positive electrode which controls movement of electrons, and a positive driving circuit which drives the positive pole on the basis of output voltage of a charge pump voltage increase circuit on the basis of increased input voltage; the fluorescent indicator tube controls the voltage increase action of the to stop or restart the charge pump voltage increase circuit. For changing of theload, the output voltage is approximately constant, thus improving display quality. In the invention, reduction of the output voltage is achieved by stopping the voltage increase motion, so that electricity consumption is reduced than a situation of reducing voltage by consumping electricity due to heating.
