A flush toilet is provided with: a toilet bowl; a rim which forms the peripheral edge of the upper end opening of the toilet bowl; a first rim water discharge opening 34L formed in the inner peripheral wall of the rim; and a first rim water passage 36L formed on the outer peripheral side of the toilet bowl and supplying flush water to the first rim water discharge opening 34L.
