The invention relates to the field of metal anticorrosion and aims at providing a preparation method of a water-based transparent anticorrosion coating. The preparation method comprises the followingsteps: adding titanium dioxide, an iron oxide pigment, barium sulfate, calcium carbonate, a dispersing agent and water into a batching bucket of a nano-sand mill, and uniformly mixing; starting a circulating cooling water system, and maintaining the temperature of circulating cooling water at 5-20 DEG C, starting a diaphragm pump, injecting the mixture in the batching bucket into an inner cavity of the sand mill, wherein the injection speed is 5L/min-10L/min; starting the sand mill for circular milling, so as to obtain slurry; and adding the slurry, a water-based resin emulsion, a defoaming agent, a flatting agent, a wetting agent, a thickening agent and a flash-rust inhibitor into a paint blending bucket, and stirring for 30-90 minutes, so as to obtain the water-based transparent anticorrosion coating.
