Summary:Provided is an indoor unit of an air conditioner having high reliability such that the dripping of dew condensation water from the end on the airflow downstream side of a vertical wind direction plateis suppressed. This indoor unit of an air conditioner is equipped with: a housing which has a suction port, a blowout port, and a heat exchanger and an air blower fan that are arranged in the interior thereof; and a vertical wind direction plate 17 which is disposed in the blowout port so as to vertically adjust the air from the blowout port. The vertical wind direction plate 17 comprises a combination of a first surface material 21a and a second surface material 22a. The end of the vertical wind direction plate 17 on the downstream side of the airflow passing through the vertical wind direction plate 17 has a water absorption member 24a.
