Summary:The invention discloses an animation resource processing method and device. The method comprises steps that to-be-processed animation resources are analyzed to acquire multiple pictures, each picturecomprises multiple pixels, and the to-be-processed animation resources are multiple animation resources after encoding and compression; each picture of the multiple pictures is analyzed, and similarity of adjacent pictures and similarity of non-adjacent pictures of the multiple pictures are calculated; according to the similarity of the adjacent pictures and the similarity of the non-adjacent pictures of the multiple pictures, at least one to-be-deleted picture is determined from the multiple pictures; the at least one to-be-deleted picture is deleted; encoding and compression processing on the multiple pictures after deletion is carried out to acquire multiple animation resources after processing.
