According to the invention, disclosed is a separable core type hybrid nuclear reactor using a single nuclear reactor, capable of a power generation operation as a normal research nuclear reactor, andalso facilitating the use as critical facilities. When the nuclear reactor is used as the critical facilities, a portion of core is separated and moved in a lateral direction to secure a space, and alattice of nuclear reactor component materials is charged in the secured space for a critical experiment, and thus a lattice characteristic experiment can be performed.
