Summary: | The invention provides a method of producing foamed glass by nickel-chromium slag. The method comprises the following steps: proportioning the nickel-chromium slag to obtain a glass material composedas follows; melting and water quenching the glass material to obtain a foamed glass raw material; and firing the mixed foamed glass raw material and a foaming agent and annealing the mixture to obtainthe foamed glass. The foamed glass prepared by the method provided by the invention is relatively high in breaking strength and relatively low in heat conductivity coefficient and has a good performance. Test results verify that the density of the foamed glass prepared by the method provided by the invention is 98-140kg/m , the constant temperature heat conductivity coefficient is 0.036-0.045W/(K.m), the compressive strength is 0.5-3MPa and the pore diameter is 1-4mm.
