The invention discloses a method for measuring the sag of a single hair product. The method comprises the following steps: measuring a projected area S1 of a measured hair product, stirring the measured hair product for a certain time, allowing the measured hair product to stand still for a certain time, measuring a projected area S2 of the measured hair product, measuring a projected area S0 of abundled end of the measured hair product, and calculating a sag coefficient according to a formula: the sag coefficient = (the projected area S1 - the projected area S0)/(the projected area S2 - theprojected area S0). The invention further discloses a method for measuring the sag of a batch of hair products, which adopts a sampling method to obtain a sample, obtains sag coefficients one by one according to the previous method for measuring the sag of the single hair product and obtains an average value to obtain sag coefficient values of a batch of hair products.
