The present invention provides an inner thickness measurement technique capable of accurately measuring the inner thickness of a tire in a short time over a full circumference even in a tire in whichthe inner circumferential surface is greatly curved. An inner thickness measuring device for measuring the inner thickness of a pneumatic tire having a steel cord, the inner thickness measuring devicecomprising: a roller for rotational movement along an inner circumferential surface of the pneumatic tire; and an eddy current sensor, which is built into the roller, and is fixed to the fixed direction with the front end facing the fixed direction independently of the rotational movement of the roller. When the inner thickness is measured, the front end of the eddy current sensor faces the innerperiphery of the pneumatic tire.
