The invention discloses a method for removing calcium from an aluminum chloride solution. The method comprises the following steps: 1, introducing an aluminum chloride solution to be treated into an adsorption unit, collecting the obtained effluent to obtain a decalcified aluminum chloride solution product, taking out a first adsorption resin column with a decreasing adsorption capacity from the adsorption unit during adsorption, and serially connecting the first adsorption resin column into a desorption unit as the last desorption resin column of the desorption unit; 2, introducing a regeneration solution into the desorption unit to sequentially desorb calcium adsorbed in all desorption resin columns in order to regenerate the resin columns and obtain a calcium-containing regeneration solution waste liquid, and serially connecting the regenerated first desorption resin column into the adsorption unit as the last adsorption resin column of the adsorption unit; and 3, repeating step 1 and step 2 in order to re
