Summary: | The invention provides a large-stroke tubular damper utilizing the post-peak performance of materials. The large-stroke tubular damper comprises a first connecting plate, a second connecting plate and a damping pipe, the plate face of the first connecting plate directly faces the plate face of the second connecting plate, and the outer circumferential face of the damping pipe is fixed with the plate faces of both the first connecting plate and the second connecting plate. In the deforming process of the damper, surrounding rock is supported by the damper in conjunction with a tunnel structure, and meanwhile, the surrounding rock can be allowed to generate shrinkage deformation to release surrounding rock pressure. In practical application, the surrounding rock pressure is released at the yield deformation stage of the damper, and if the surrounding rock pressure is not released at the yield deformation stage of the damper, the compaction stage of the damper can provide a final safety guarantee.
