The invention discloses two feasible preparation processes of polyvinylpyrrolidone-bromine compound (BrPVP) as a novel bromating agent which can be used for bromination reaction in chemical reaction. The invention further explores the possibility of the BrPVP as a bromination reaction bromating agent.
