A piezoelectric speaker (100, 200, and so on to 500) includes a piezoelectric element (1), and a vibrating metal section (2, 22, and so on to 352) to which the piezoelectric element (1) is bonded with an adhesive section (3) therebetween. The piezoelectric element (1) is a substantially rectangular plate. The vibrating metal section (2, 22, and so on to 352) includes a substantially rectangular plate-like section (2, 12a, 32a, and so on to 132a and the like) which is vibrated by means of the piezoelectric element.
