Project information extraction implementations are presented that generally extract project information and generate a project information database for an enterprise. This is accomplished by extracting enterprise project names from information sources associated with an enterprise. People associated with the project corresponding to each extracted enterprise project name are identified using information sources associated with the enterprise. In addition, project-related items generated and collected during the course of the project can be identified in the information sources. A project information database is then generated for the enterprise.
