Summary: | In the present invention, the distance between a body high compression ratio side stopper surface (42) and a control shaft high compression ratio side stopper surface (40) when a stopper member strikes a body high compression ratio side stopper portion (35) is configured to be relatively longer at a position closer to the rotation center of a control shaft when viewed along the axis of the control shaft.
