The invention relates to a polybutylene-1/natural fiber composite material, which comprises the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 75-95% of polybutylene-1 homopolymer, and 5-25% of surface-modified natural fibers. The invention further provides a preparation method of the composite material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing polybutylene-1 homopolymer with surface-modified natural fibers, performing melt blending and extrusion, strip casting, granulation and injection molding onthe mixture through a double-screw extruder, thus obtaining the composite material.
